My all-time favorite, creamiest overnight oat recipe.
All you need is 10 minutes before bed to throw all these ingredients into a mason jar for the easiest nourishing breakfast. These oats are so creamy I even enjoy eating them cold- they are so perfect for busy mornings to grab on the go.
The addition of yogurt to these oats not only gives it that extra creamy factor, but it provides a good boost of protein for a more nutrient-dense breakfast.
These are low in sugar and gluten-free (with certified gluten-free oats).
Prep time: 10 minutes
1/4 cup oats
1/4 cup milk (I use cashew milk)
1/2 cup greek yogurt* (dairy-free yogurt will work as well)
1 tbsp chia seeds
1-1.5 tbsp cacoa powder
1 tsp pure maple syrup
Optional: 1 tbsp powdered peanut butter
1. Shake all ingredients in a jar to combine well. Let sit overnight and enjoy!
*I typically choose a yogurt with no added sugar. Make sure you are reading the ingredient label!
