The first sip of this smoothie and I was hooked. It literally tastes like a milkshake- you would never know how packed it is with nutritious ingredients.
Personally, raw blended cauliflower does not upset my stomach. I find it rather easy to digest. However, issues with digestion are completely person-to-person, and some may find a raw cruciferous vegetable (i.e. cauliflower) to cause issues with bloat, gas, or IBS flare ups. If you find this happening when adding vegetables to your smoothies, try steaming the vegetables first and then re-freezing them. By cooking our vegetables, we break down some of the insoluble fiber, which can be much more difficult for our bodies to process.
If you haven't tried cauliflower in your smoothies yet, start with this one! You'll be shocked by how satisfying and delicious it is.
