these cookie bars are straight up addicting- don’t say I didn’t warn you ;)
2 ½ cups almond flour
2 eggs, whisked
1/3 cup butter, melted
3 tbsp pure maple syrup
½ teaspoon sea salt
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup dark chocolate chips
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper. Melt and cool butter, then mix with whisked egg, maple syrup, and vanilla.
2. Stir in dry ingredients until everything is combined, then fold in chocolate chips.
3. Pour batter into baking dish. Using a spatula or hands, flatten dough to fill the square dish.
4. Bake for 20 minutes, allow to cool before slicing.
