Can you every really go wrong with banana nut?
One of my all time favorite flavor combos. I love having chia pudding warm- I personally find it more appetizing and satisfying. This meal only takes about 10 minutes in total to prep and cook. Warming up the chia seeds on the stove causes them to swell, just like they do when you let chia pudding sit over night.
Packed with fiber and loads of omega fatty acids for brain health + reduction in inflammation.
This makes a great breakfast or snack!
1 banana, sliced
1/2 cup almond/cashew/or coconut milk
2 tbsp chopped walnuts
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp ground flax seed
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
Dash of vanilla extract
Add all ingredients besides banana and honey to a pot over medium low heat. Cook for 4-5 minutes until thickened, stirring frequently.
Add banana and honey, stir + cook for 2 more minutes.
