the most crunchy, clustery granola.

because the clusters are always the best part! this crispy quinoa granola is grain free (quinoa is a seed, not a grain!), super simple to make, and the maple, ghee, cinnamon combo is insanely delicious.

your house will basically smell like a giant bowl of honey nut cheerios after you make this.

i’m obsessed with adding this to yogurt bowls, smoothies, as an oatmeal topper, or straight up as a crunchy snack!

recipe

  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds

  • 1/2 cup walnut pieces 

  • 3/4 cup uncooked quinoa

  • 2 tablespoons 4th & Heart vanilla bean (or regular) ghee, melted 

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup 

  • 1 tbsp cinnamon 

  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt 

    1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 
    2. In a bowl, combine chopped almonds, walnuts, quinoa, salt, and cinnamon. Break the walnuts up into smaller pieces if desired.

    Stir in melted ghee and maple syrup. stir until everything is well combined, then spread evenly on a parchment lined baking pan. 
    3. bake for 17-20 minutes, stirring once half way through. Remove from the oven and allow to completely cool before break apart granola into clusters. store in an airtight container. *** if you don’t let it cool completely you won’t get as big of clusters!
