simple sprouted breakfast wraps.
This post is in partnership with Angelic Bakehouse.
My mornings are my most favorite part of my day- it totally sets the tone for the rest of my day. My morning coffee or matcha and a good, nourishing breakfast are essential to me. I truly enjoy taking a little time to make myself a good breakfast- it just starts my day on the right foot.
I am absolutely loving breakfast wraps made with angelic bakehouse sprouted wraps- the sweet potato and spinach ones are my favorite! Because the grains in the wraps are sprouted, they are easier to digest. It also makes the nutrients more readily available for absorption. Having something easy on the stomach is key in the morning, as your body is just waking up and your metabolism is just turning on. That’s why I love my breakfast wraps! I stuff them with easy to digest veggies (usually sautéed kale or spinach), avocado, eggs and lately bacon, too! Just so good and satisfying.
Angelic bakehouse products are all sprouted, vegan, and kosher. And they taste so delicious- I truly love them! The ingredients are simple, and the flavor/texture of the wraps are on point.
For the bacon kale mix, I simply cook the bacon on the skillet until it’s just about to the crisp level that I want it. I then drain off the bacon fat, leaving just enough to keep the skillet greased, and stir in the kale. I let it sauté until the kale is slightly crispy, which just takes a few minutes. I cook up my eggs in the same pan (less dishes, woo!) and toss it all into the angelic bakehouse wrap and top with avocado and hot sauce.
